I'm looking for an external portable hard drive in the region of 250/320Gb.

Can anyone recommend a decent bit of kit?

hehe as much as I like bricks I think ipod type portable is the way to go - pocket (or thereabouts) sized is what I'm after.

I was looking at WD Passport thingies but before committing the cash I thought I'd ask on here. smile

I recently picked up a 320Gb Iomega Prestige drive as a backup for my music files.

Less than £50 from PC World, USB powered and marginally bigger than a pack of cigarettes.

Certainly very pleased with it so far..

Sorry to hijack, but beats starting a new thread.

I need a drive to connect to the usb port on my ps3 so that I can play movies - already connected wirelessly and films are unwatchable. therefore need something relatively quiet as well as decent storage 500GB +.

cheers
