How to display PC on TV

How do i display the Screen from my Dell Laptop PP28L onto my Panasonic TV. I have bought an audio and video cable which i have plugged in.

Connect the VGA port on your laptop to the VGA on the plasma.
You then have to do 2 other things,

1. Select the PC input on the TV (press AV then navigate to PC and press OK)

2. Turn on the VGA port on your laptop, this depends on your laptop but usually FN and F4 does it on most.

It is F7 on this one.

my F8 button has CRT/LCD on it which i have tried as well as the F4 and F7 button but no luck

You need to press that CRT/LCD button and another button at the same time.

Usually bottom left.

Function or FN, something like that.
