Hi guys,

A mate of mine asked if I would consider selling my old imac (the one below)

Basically I have one question.

Does it have an Audio "in" slot for use with microphones etc?

Nope - but has multiple USBs so easy to add a skype headset for mics in that way.

How strange looking through that manuel and the picture that desplays everything that is at the back of the imac is different to mine,

I now think mine does have audio in as looking through the Mac website the logo on the new imacs that is for audio in is also on the back of the imac....

Use System Profiler (Apple/About This Mac/More Info...) to determine the spec of your model. Then browse here to determine the exact model and spec.

If it has no audio in, use a USB solution, such as a Skype phone or the Griffin iMic (which is effectively a soundcard on a USB dongle).
