As the title says, I'm trying to find out what the difference is between the Epson Cheetah & Monkey inks. I presume it's the ink levels, but cant find out which has the most ink & is better value.

any help much appreciated.

The black 'monkey' one has less ink than the 'cheetah' one.

The extra ink seems to almost double the page yield between the monkey & cheetah colour packs, but only increases the black by about 50%.

If you use black a lot, then you might be interested in the 'giraffe' black pack as it's does twice as many prints as the 'monkey' and 50% more than the 'cheetah' inks.

The Epson website states the page yields based on 'ISO standard' tests. Not necessarily accurate of how much you'll actually get out of them, but at least it lets you calculate a ratio between the different packs.

And of course, when it says 'ink empty' on screen, it isn't actually empty.........
