Best sub £50 multifunction printer?
Discussion
Hi,
Its time I finally bought a printer rather than using works
so what's the best sub £50 multifunction printer? Basically will be used for general printing so not too fussed about the spec, i am however bothered about the price of the ink!
Can anyone recommend a good one, or even just a good brand whereby you get good value with the ink cartridges?
Thanks, Matt

Brother. I have one which is couple of years old and works brilliantly. Full set of 4 cartridges (blck, cyan, magnta, yellow) costs about £10 from online retailers and will print plenty of pages. Its time I finally bought a printer rather than using works

Suggestion - pick a few printers out , then look on here -WWW.printercartridges.net for prices . Chepest I've found ,and fastest delivery - I ordered WED PM, in postbox Thurs AM ,half the price of local and national ink sellers ,post free . And ,I've no connection to this guy ,save as a very satisfied customer .I've met him -the once I had a bad cartridge ( as secretary of a residents association ,we went through a lot of ink ) , when he personally cameto replace it .I don't often pass on personal reccomendations - this one I'm happy to do so .
I've got a Canon MP190 at work, most of what I do is through a mono laser but every now and again I need colour, this little beauty works a treat, very cheap as are the cartridges. I use it mainly as a scanner for which is is pretty good, the bundled software scans into pdf for example.

can anyone reccomend a decent all-in-one that can do photo's and be network attached btw?
Canon MP640 gets consistently excellent reviews - and can be hard-wired into a network which is for some reason quite hard to find. If you just want Wifi connectivity then the MP560 is cheaper and otherwise almost identical.deckster said:
