Good evening,

I currently have a mobile and broadband through O2- at a silly price (free handset, very good contract and broadband all for £15pm)

I am about hakfway through my contract but would pay to change to an iphone and associated contract. I obviously expect to pay more.

Has anyone been able to do this easily?

It shouldn't be that difficult, you may be without a phone for a couple of days if they're that way out, but I've been with O2 since it was BT Cellnet and I've not had much in the way of problems smile

They may charge you to end a contract to start another, or you buy a PAYG iPhone and use your existing sim.
Should be possible
Though phone up a few times asking the same question, I asked them questions and kept getting different answers, sure they make these things up as they go along

Best thing with O2 is that room to haggle when you've been with them a while.

I'm currently on a contract that should be £35, but because I've been there YEARS, they've got it down to £20 biggrin

Shame they couldn't do it with the Iphone, but such is life smile

you have to make sure you get a 3G Sim though

I had 4 months left to run on my contract and a phone that didn't work properly!
Decided iPhone was the way to go. The cheapest way to do it was to buy a iPhone outright (£440) and get a Simplicity 3G sim for the phone with free Data, I now pay £20 a month for 800 mins 1600 texts and unlimited net, no contract.

I'm on the same kind of deal but it expires at the end of April so I phoned up to get a feel for what deals were there to be made. Unfortunately nobody is doing deals on iphones just now. Even the deal I have currently probably can't be matched (although i dare say retentions might be able to do something). I think I'll still go for an iphone this time though...
