Recommend a Copier / Printer for Home Use

To be use mainly for printing and the odd scanning / copying. Are these ~£40 deals any good? (was looking at a Canon for 41-quid from Amazon)

Check the cost of the replacement ink cartridges first. I bought a £30ish printer for uni and then found that to replace the colour and black cartridges cost almost as much as the printer!

Now I have a Canon Pixma and although the printer cost more it costs less on ink (Staples do their own brand cartridges that fit it).
