Acer Netbook charger knackered - Where can I get another?
Discussion
You'd probably get away with the HP one.
You say you definitely want another Acer one.
Any particular reason?
I personally rarely use the enclosed power supplies any more.
I like to use the Kensington Universal Supplies.
In particular this one: http://eu.kensington.com/kensington/en/gb/p/537/33...
This has the capacity to run pretty much any Laptop AND it has a USB power output so you can charge USB plug devices without having to have the laptop switched on.
At £120 these are expensive, but I buy refurbished ones with a full 12 month warranty for £25.

Th HP one wont fit, the HP has a small hole in the middle of the plug the Acer needs a large hole.
That may not be true.HP/Compaq have three different plugs.
Acer have two different plugs.
One is common to both Acer and HP/Compaq.
One of my HP Laptops has the same plug as my Acers (two with same plugs).
I actually have two Fujitsu Lifebooks, one HP, one Toshiba and two Acers which all use the same power plug.
Most are different power ratings though, which is why I find the Kensington units so useful.

Thanks for this... I bought one! It's really good, but the USB charging function doesn't seem to work. On checking the manual, it says I have to purchase a 'Power Tip'... Do I really have to? If so, where's the cheapest I can get it?! Useful for charging my PS3 controller...You say you definitely want another Acer one.
