Mine is backed-up on optical media (a few thousand of them)....

Only it's not a hot back-up solution and takes a few days to restore.....

This thread applies to EVERY computer user with something they do not want to lose on their computer...

Why iPod iTunes specific? Well, to quote myself on another thread...

If I was to rely on sharepod, I would lose a great deal.

So what is the answer... Regular, mundane, computer backups, as everyone with anything of value should do. That is the answer.
