Pop Under blocker, IE8

Is there such a thing as a pop under blocker ? This seems to be the latest thing at a few sites I go to, constant new pages opening behind the page I am viewing, each of which is an advert. Its bloody annoying and I have to go and shut down 10+ windows every now and then.

What ae your pop-up blocker settings . Are they set to high and are there any sites in the allowed sites that should not be...

aha stupid is as stupid does. Instead of posting on here I should have checked the settings first...for some reason I had allowed pop ups to those sites, not sure how that happened. Taken them out no, see if that fixes it.

no problem.
Also set the blocking level to high
