- looks a decent spec for the price (though I'm bit uneasy about the review comments re battery being bulky)
Otherwise any suggestions welcome if I can get a better spec within budget up to £250 ?
Must have:
Windows 7
a 6-cell battery (and/or at least 6 hours on battery)

When I was looking at netbooks, I found the 11.6" screen so much better. I've one of these...

Not the fastest or latest cpu, but the screen and price sold it to me.

I bought a Samsung N210 from Amazon last week and I can't complain in any way. A lot faster than my old Advent netbook and the battery life is unbelievable (I used it for 8 hours of writing on the weekend and there was still life in it).

I'm looking for a netbook for my wife, she's been using my old laptop for her college work but it's old, slow and creaky (not unlike me). I like the look of this one, but perhaps as an owner you can shed some light on this:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-Aspire-11-6-Inch-Netb...

optional Bluetooth
is there a different model for the bluetooth version? I can see a need for bluetooth, mainly transferring photos from her camera phone which is a pain with the bit of wire supplied with it.Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
