Blackberry to Blackberry Transfer

My Bold 9000 seems to be dying and Orange are sending me out a replacement.

When I upgraded from an 8820 to a Bold I connected both to BB Desktop Manager and did an upgrade which worked a treat, the trouble is that Orange want the old one back so I won't be able to have both simultaneously connected, also they're only changing the unit, not the battery etc.

Would a backup work, then restore it to the new unit?

The BB software comes with a 'device switch' wizard to do just this!

Just have Vix pedal on the cycle long enough to keep elastictrickery going to the PC

Haha, I've used the transfer thing but it needed both plugged in at the same time which isn't possible.

That one does ish... you can simply backup to one, and restore to another..

Just tell Orange to FOAD
