Apple Time Capsule set up.
Discussion
OK you IT experts, help me with this one if you will. Cheers.
I have just set up an Apple Time Capsule to work mainly as a back up disc to 4 Macs in an office.
It is connected via ethernet to the Linksys router which the 4 Macs are wired to for networking and internet.
The Macs can see it wirelessly, and via their ethernet connections through the Linksys.
I have the Macs backing up fine using Time Machine but the Time Capsule does not appear to have the internet.
The Macs are still on the Net via wire but guests can see the TC but can't connect to the Net.
Any ideas as I've spent 4 hours on it and need to go home.
Thought the damn thing was plug n play.
PS the ethernet cable that connects the Linksys router to the TC previously had a Linksys wireless mini router thing connected that worked.
The TC has been given the same SSID, ip address, DNS, gateway etc.
