Uploading to NTL website.

Hi all,

I've got some webspace which i'm trying to upload a website for my Dad to.
Never done it so struggling a bit. I've written the website in Dreamweaver and am trying to use the site defintion thing to connect to the FTP site on NTL.

It connects to the host without any problems, then comes up with a message saying "Waiting for server" after a while it comes up with an error msg saying "An FTP error occurred - cannot make connection to host"

Any ideas?

Are you definitely connecting via an NTL account, or are you using another ISP?

Check that your firewall isnot blocking incoming connections to the ftp server
