Help!
My hotmail acount has been hacked and my password altered so i cant get in. I no longer have access to my secondry email adress and can't remember the secuity questions as it was 10yrs ago.
I have looked on microsoft website and not realy found a lot to help.
So please all you people who know far more than me on the workings of the T'interet can you please point me in the right direction.
Thanks
Duncan

I'd assume some sort of keylogging would be involved. Somehow? I've been receiving s
t loads of 'undelivered mailto's' over the last 4 days. Apparently a worm of some sort. This does mainly seem to be happening to hotmail though. 2 other friends have had issues over the last month too.

A lot of people use poor passwords that are easy to crack via dictionary attacks on the gmail/hotmail accounts.

This happened to me a couple of years ago, they got the info through ebay or paypal - what great companies.
Anyway, there is a number you can ring MS on in the US and they sorted it out in about an hour or so as I didn't have my security questions as it had been open so long, but they just confirm the emails you have sent and roughly when you opened it etc
