Outlook calendar sychronisation help please

Right, want to sync the calendars on my home and work PCs, with that on an HTC Hero smart phone. As between home and phone, not a problem as I can just plug phone in and go in the usual way. IT policy at work forbids that however and I'm also prevented from loading the HTC sync software in any event. So wondering if it might be possible somehow to export the calendar data from work by email... add that to my home Outlook and then sync with the phone? PCs are Windows if that makes any difference.

Will they let you install the Google Calendar Sync for Outlook?

Would you be OK installing the Google Calendar sync tool then, which would allow you to sync work > google > phone > htc sync > home pc?

If so, use your Google account, and point the HTC active sync to m.google.com - works for mail, calendar and contacts. If not, which version of Outlook are you on?

Ok, that sounds feasible... will investigate

Home Outlook is 2000, work will be something much more current; will need to check when I'm next in the office
