Blackberry Service on Orange

Orange emailed me to say my gmail account was no longer being forwarded and that I need to login to my blackberry account at orange... Did all that, but it will not accept my gmail password. I have changed, double changed,...., my gmail password and have no issues logging in from any computer on any network etc...

Anyone know what I need to do.

Sometimes BIS just doesn't seem to hook up.

Try again in a few hours. Change your password and try again. I don't know much about Gmail - is your mailbox POP3 accessible? If so BIS should be going in via that route rather than using ActiveSync/OWA which it does with Exchange.

The other thing is, I got a mail from Gmail alerting suspicious activity as someone from Japan (76.74.170.7) had tried to access my account. I put this down to recent Adobe Premiere video posting onto youtube as trace showed an adobe association. Youtube shares the gmail account system so this would be consistent.

OK, got it working. No idea what changed to make it work as its been buggered for a week....

This is most likely the problem rather than BIS.
