I've got an e mail from Paypal basically offering me £50 if I sign up for their credit card and use it once (after which it gets paid off in full and then binned....thanks for the £50) - however it involves clicking a ling on the mail, anyone else had one of these? How can I tell if its spam before logging into my Paypal account through the link?

Don't ever login using a link in an email. Go to the paypal website and login that way then see if there is any mention of a credit card.

Quick way authenticate could be e-mailing it to: spoof@paypal.co.uk

Don't blame me if that doesn't work for you.

You received an email from somebody who is after your paypal account details so they can use them to relieve you of your money.
