Unmanaged switch

Just a quick question, can anyone recommend an 8 port 10/100 unmanaged switch, they range from about £10-£50 but all offer the same thing on the specs?

It will connect 3 consoles + 1 gaming pc +2 general use PCs. We regularly transfer 5GB+ files from NAS server as well as stream films and music.

id get gigabit and the Netgear blue tin ones are guaranteed for life ...thats what I use

I've got a few Netgear switches too. I use the white ones (GS608).

They work very well and aren't that pricey.

Id concur. My 2yr old wifi router has lost its 4 lan ports they simply refuse to allow network connection called netgear and they simply said they would send me a new one and all i need to do is send them the old one.
