I've got another computer, and want to use Easy Transfer (built into Windows 7) to transfer all my stuff from the other computer. The file size is 7.3 GB, I'm trying to put it on a new HP USB 16GB flash drive and it says the file is too biq, even though 'properties' acknowledges that the drive has 15 gb space

Am I doing something wrong?

When you look at the properties of the drive does it tell you what format it is in? I'm guessing it's FAT32, which means it can only handle files up to 4gb in size.

You could reformat it to NTFS which can handle larger files, you can do that by right clicking on the drive in My Computer, and clicking format, then pick NTFS, be warned though if you format it everything will be gone.

Hope that helps
