Pricing a Domain Name

I have a domain name which I bought 6 years ago intending to set up a fan base/forum for a sports person who has since become very very high profile.

I have just been emailed and asked if I have a price in mind or am open to offers. I am not sure what it would be worth and wonder if anyone has any experience of knowledge of this and could advise. Or if I decide not to sell, could I legally be forced to. I didn't buy it to profiteer, purely as I am a massive fan and there weren't any forums etc, for this person at that time.

It's worth whatever someone is prepared to buy it for.

I recently bought a domain privately and emailed a couple of owners who had domains I was interested in. The range of figures they were prepared to sell it for ranged massively. All the domains were fairly similar in length/description but the price range was huge.

There have been some cases of owners being forced to sell the domain name, but I believe these are normally to do with existing company names. I don't recall any cases being to do with people's names. I could be wrong on that though!
