Why is Vista telling me my password is going to expire???
Discussion
OK, I can't do anything about my work laptop being configured to force me to pick a new password every 3 months, but why has one of our home machines suddenly started doing it?
Our desktop originally had multiple profiles in Vista, and now has them in Windows 7, and neither have asked us to change passwords.
My wife's laptop originally just had a single account under Vista, which wasn't password protected. When my daughter started using it, we decided to add password protected accounts so that we could monitor her useage and set higher restriction levels on internet access. Since then, mine has started telling me I'm going to have to change my password, and currently tells me I've got 4 days left!
I don't want to change my password. How do I change settings to ensure that I won't have to? I've got administrator rights on my account if that makes a difference.
