Hi Chaps,
I am in the market for a new TV and would look forward to any advice ( I am sure Plotloss has some).

The TV will probably be 37" and I would like the ability to network it with my NAS (I Hope the DLNA will let me do this). Other things will be a USB port for attaching a Memory stick and either a freesat tuner or freeviw HD tuner.

Any suggestions,

Many thanks
Pete

That G20 looks nice. Unfortunately the smallest size is 42" and we can only go up to 37" in the space available.

May get the sledgehammer out and make the hole bigger. Shame it can't record to a memory stick, only a USB HDD, think they missed out on a trick there.

Why wouldn't a memory stick work if they are both from the USB port? confused

It should do really shouldn't it? They both offer Mass Storage in the same way I think.

I suspect the ports are unpowered as it say the USB HDD must have a seperate power conection. Anyway it's rather specific about it and mentions USB memory sticks for viewing pics and movies so I suspect they wont work.

I'd be tempted to try it in store just to be sure!

I had thought about that, not a bad idea.

No USB socket, but for the money saved you could buy a media server/xbox360/ps3 to add to it.
