Apple Warranty

Just a quicky. I was wondering if anyone has used the Apple Warranty service?

I've had the Iphone around 2 months and now the screen is boggered. I'm not insured but the Apple warranty is a year so that's fine. I Spoke to apple last night and they are ringing me today to organise a replacement. As I live miles away from an Apple Store they are going to deliver me a replacement one and collect my broken one.

Now my question to you fine people is, Do they send me a fresh new one or a re-con unit?

I'm pretty sure mine was brand new when I got it replaced.

UPS deliver you an empty box, you then send the phone back and they then send another one. All in about 3 days IIRC.

You see, there were 2 options given to me. 1 was yours(but they said it would take 2 weeks). The other was where they send me a new one in the post, then once I've swapped all the stuff over I send my old one back. Obviously they have my card details in case I decide to pull a fast one.

Anyway, if the replacement one I got back wasn't a new one you certainly couldn't tell the difference
