Contract review/tagging - eSticky notes

I have to review quite a few contracts, both in pre-agreement negotiation and post-contract claims etc.

Currently, I use coloured sticky notes to denote a useful Clause and colour code them based on themes etc. Not very 'professional' and a bit old-fashioned.

The contracts are available in scanned PDF format (as images rather than text generally), is there a way of 'tagging' certain sections to refer back to later? Or to pull out all Clauses (or sections of the 'image') relevant to a certain theme?

I've got Adobe Pro 6.0, and later versions of the readers - but never really looked into what Pro can do.

I use an old version of adobe. You can do it here and I assume current version is similar.
