Just looking for some help, need to buy a new printer and would like to get a colour laser printer with fax and scanner but looking at a budget of around £150, is this possible?
Would also be a bonus if it can be plugged into my netgear wireless router and then shared between laptop and macbook.

Decided to change as my current printer, Brother MFC7420 is only mono.

not a laser or fax, but I do like the Cannon MP640 inkjet/scanner I bought last year. It's wireless or wired, cost £150 or so.

considered fax, but for the times we needed it, there plenty of internet fax options out there to meet my needs. yours may be different.

A lot of printers don't work with mac so check first. Most HP are fine.

Firstly, don't believe anyone that says it will be delivered tomorrow, it won't or if it is, it will have something wrong with it.

I looked at this one last night, bit over budget but there are similar ones in budget. This one, if you trade in your old printer you get £100 off, hence just over budget.

However I wanted a Laser printer so went for this one.

You might struggle to get a laser for that price.

I've got a Canon Pixma MX-700.

It has ethernet, fax, scanner with document feeder, really a good piece of kit. Install the Canon software on your workstations, and you can scan from the printer and choose your destination PC.

I'm sure it's been superceded by now though.

I've bought 4 fking printers this week, 1 had missing leads (that one turned up on time) had been opened and clearly second hand. The second, I was told would be there next day, next day was told it would be next day, next day I was told they had non in stock so might be next week. The third, same story. So I went into Staples and bought one from the shop floor. Sorted.

All salesmen/women are fking lying bds as long as they can get the money from you. Why are people like this?

So no, not bks at all, had a lot of bad experiences like this over the last year or so, just seems that this country is turning into a lying/thieving society instead of just being honest with customers.

Who were you trying to buy from? I've always used Ebuyer and had absolutely no issues at all, therefore I will continue to use them.

And yes, most sales people in that industry are just as you describe them!

The only problem is, the land of printers is supposed to be a well respected online shop and the just blatantly lied too. Just pissed me off and I was desperate for a new printer so decided to go into the shop and get one from stock. Always works best.
