Anyone having problems with Auto-Trader on Firefox with ABP

If you have FireFox and AdBlockPlus, you may find that Autotrader doesn't work when you view pictures on an advert.

Do the following:

1) Tools > Adblock Plus Preferences
2) "Add Filter..."
3) Paste this line in: @@||autotrader.co.uk/image-gallery/*/image-id/*/advert-type/*
4) Click Ok.

A weeks worth of frustration over for me!

Adblock doesn't like the 'advert-' part of the URL (I think it's recently been added as it used to work find with me!)

/advert- is a pretty loose match. It actually caught me out in one of our internal web apps the other day!

Cheers! Must be in the last day or so because I hadn't noticed any problem, but on checking it, it was certainly borked. So you solved a problem before I knew I had it

Thanks! Was looking on Autotrader last night and growing mighty peeved that I had to keep opening IE up to view any pictures. All sorted now.

No problem, it was doing my tits in, and yeah, it's the '/advert-' filter, I think it's better to add the exception than delete the rule?

I was going to put this in the lounge but I didn't want to be slapped by the mods.
