BT vision

Got this at home - grey box. Annoying thing is it switches itself off overnight or during the day if its been on for 8 hours + or so. Can't switch on the news in the morning in bedroom without trecking into the living room to switch the bl00dy thing on.
Anyone know if there's a way round this? (Sky is not an option in communal listed building)

It may have a power save feature, Sky does and it's default setting is on, it then powers down at night to standby, you can switch it off in the settings so the sky stays on all the time!
