1st Gen Iphone battery

Can any one advise me if you can change the battery in a 1st gen Iphone ?

I magine you would have to dismantle the acse is some way ?

Can be done but is a right pain to do yourself. Hows your soldering too? If its the same as an Ipod then there are 3 wires from the battery that need soldering to the board. Much easier to pay a company to do it for you.

You use that green blade like tool to open the case.
