NTL cable - wireless
Discussion
(sorry to bring it up again
)
OK - I've managed to setup ICS on an ethernet LAN to connect my laptop to my desktop which has the internet connection. After some faffing around (and using a different firewall!) it's worked!
Next step - wireless
I have a cable modem with Ethernet and USB - good start I hear you say
So if I get a wireless cable router (ie www.dabs.com/UK/productview?quicklinx=2SYH) and a wireless pcmcia card - that's it?
I'll need to install the NTL broadband kit on my laptop I assume? Then I won't need my desktop switched on to surf wirelessly?

Should do the job nicely. Your BB modem should plug into the back of this (via ethernet cable).
