iPhone Insurance Claim

Hi Guys,

I was out last Friday and managed to lose my iPhone, so now currently using a ste Sony Ericsson which keeps switching off and dropping calls.

I have handset insurance with my bank account and the claim for has come through. Now I was pretty wasted last Friday and think I lost the phone between the hours of 02:00 and 06:00. Do I fess up and say I was hammered when I lost it? Or will they say that it was my fault and they will not pay out.

I lost mine in a desert whilst "impaired". All the insurance really cared about was that I had reported the loss to the police.

Yeh they dont care as long as you have a crime number. I did the same thing.

i lost mine overseas and the guy in carphone told me to walk out the shop, come back in and say i just lots it in the shopping center.

Does your insurance cover loss? Every phone insurance i've had in the past doesn't cover accidental loss.

It was in my pocket and then it wasn't. I think I've been pick pocketed.

i have carphone warehouse lifeline, lost my iphone, went to police station to get a loss number, went back to carphone, they gave me a new phone there and then.
