Since I got the laptop networked wireless to the study PC a couple of weeks ago it has worked fine including sharing the printer. Today laptop is working ok and connecting to the net, but cannot print. Tried the printer touble shooter with no luck. I have checked that the printer is shared. There are no yellow exclamation marks in device manager. I cannot access printer properties as dalogue box says printer properties cannot be displayed as the print spooler srvice is not running.
How do I get it running please?
thanks in advance.
Graham.

Is the PC that's physically connected to the printer logged-in to Windows?

Try a re-boot of the remote PC...

Go to control panel, then administrative tools and then services. There should be print spooler, right click it. Then go to re-start.

Almost forgot - check share permissions on the printer that is sharing...

PS: It is much easier to use some sort of network appliance for printer sharing - you can even get them in USB these days...
