At a local electronics supplier.

Had a look at trusted reivews and it seems an 8/10, but not sure on the model.

Is it worth the punt at this price, would beat using the PSP for films, etc.

not sure if its the 60GB, 120GB or the android model though, I picked it up and looked and thought that wasnt too bad, but thought there was only one model so wasnt sure until I got back to the desk and saw 3.

If its the 60GB is it worth it?

going back down after lunch.

Ok the crack is that its only instore at HMV and the prices are as follows:

60GB is £99.99
120GB is £149.99

They are identical except for the harddrive size.

just picked up mine and the thing is weighty and not cheap looking... for something that will be used on flights to keep me sane it seems like a steal compared to my psp.

Enjoy!!

Ive had an Archos AV 500 (4.5" screen) for about 4 years, take it everywhere with us, will play every file format (bar mkv but no surprise there given the age of the thing) really good devices, i also had the AV700 (7" screen) for a while but found that a bit too big for my needs.

Im sure some of the later devices require you to purchase codecs to play certain format, or maybe they've stopped that now, its a while since i looked into these in more detail.

£99 for a 60Gb model is a bargain, and like others have said if you dont like it get your money back on ebay.
