Proof the iPhone is worth it...

The figures were even higher for women in their 30s with an iPhone in their purse.
Or "how to identify a slut".I think there are other factors, a "lifestyle" that fits the iPhone, not reversed (so an iPhone won't get you laid more often).
For example, people who don't care that much what other people think, and do proper research and know about mobile phones, will be less likely to buy an iPhone. And have less of a social life.

I have an iPhone FWIW.

I'm on iPhone number 6.

They break that often?
Second one was an insurance replacement - and developed a cosmetic flaw
Replaced by apple by number 3 - which was faulty (bad GSM antenna)
Replaced by apple by number 4 - which was stolen from my house when we were burgled
Replaced by insurance by a brand new 32Gb 3GS at £550 quid two months before the iPhone4 was released
So I upgraded to #6, and my other half has #5.
So, one cosmetic issue replaced without quibble. One genuine hardware flaw replaced without quibble. Both swaps took less than 5 days via courier.
And plenty of bad luck and stupidity on my part.
On the upside, Mr Jobs now sends me personal notes thanking me for increasing his share price....

I've never had a problem and the latest iPhone is all I could ever want or need in a phone, and it does it all flawlessly.
Put my iPhone next to any other phone on the same network, and I can have full 3G service on the other phone, zero 2G OR 3G coverage on the iPhone. After 3 replacements, we found one that actually has some coverage, so I accepted that.Only the battery has gone faulty now, 3 weeks later. And they want to replace the whole handset, so I expect I'll get one back with no coverage again...
I know of several others with massive reception issues too (and this is on the 3GS, not the "known" troubled 4)
That's very strange Davi as I know a lot of people who have an iPhone, there are 3 iPhone 4's in my office and nobody is having any issues at all.
Luck of the draw I guess. I have a very early one too - in fact I was the first person in the NW to lay my hands on one. So you would expect there to be some issues in mine if in any at all.
Best of luck with getting it sorted.

I work in the industry. I've probably used every smartphone available.I'm on iPhone number 6.
I too am in the industry, and we're currently testing grounds for a fixed mobile phone platform, and the iPhone is a good phone.
Just not 650€ good.
Not at all.
Oh, we have 2 iphone 4's testrunning in the company, and 1 has been faultless, the other one has come back and forth two times now.
As said here before, 3G reception seems pretty poor compared to the blackberry's/androids we have now, but WiFi seems to be on par or even better than the other phones.
Also battery is similar to Android devices with a similar sized screen (ex Milestone).
But, as said, almost twice the price they're actually worth imho.
iAlex, what network are you on? I've been researching it since I've had problems, and it appears to be a vodafone / iPhone combo issue, though I've also found isolated cases on other networks (my wifes boss, for example, standing right next to a colleague with another iPhone bought at the same time, can't get any reception at all on 02).
I'm on o2, have been for as long as I can remember. Having said that, every single person I know with an iPhone is on o2 so I can't offer any comparisons.
What I will say is that my parents are currently on Vodafone, albeit without iPhones (Blackberry Bold and Nokia Classic) and the Vodafone signal of late has literally disappeared from their house and other places which ironically they visit an awful lot.
I am round there tonight so I will drop my mothers sim into my iPhone and compare it side by side with the Bold and see what the difference is. However, if Apple are to be believed then it may simply be an issue of signal display rather than amount of signal, which is even more confusing.
