Problem with IE6

At least, I think it's a problem with IE6

This is at home, on dial up. The first window opens fine but if I try to link to anywhere, especially when I right click - open new window the original window comes up not responding (in task manager) and the network/modem (in task manager) goes to zero

If I open a new IE the modem bursts into life again (in TM) and all works well until I hit a link again

I've deleted all tempory internet files, reset the history, cleared out my favourites, cleared all the cookies, defragged the disk (getting a bit desperate at that point)

Anyone got any ideas
