Basically, I am a PC-Retard.

A mate has saved a load of MP4 files (I tunes?!??) to a flashdrive for a presentation that I am doing, but I am not an Apple man. All I need to do is play the fking things via my normal PC via windows media player, and maybe transfer to a CD.

Of course, that's far too f'ing difficult to do, and every online converter I go to leads me down some dubious paths.

Can anyone assist me in what I should be looking for, for a quick and free converting method?

Thanks.

Thanks. Quick question... before I download, will it let me convert to MP3 without voice signatures overlaying the tracks etc?

I may be well off the mark here, and will gladly open myself up to a flaming if this is wrong, but I believe I have managed it in the past with certain MP4 files by just changing the file extension to .mp3

Worth a go maybe?!

I got there in the end - I downloaded Itunes, imported tracks from the flashdisc, and then burnt audio cd from there... seems to work, I think...

mp4 are probably AAC files, which are better than mp3 (they are the successor of mp3 of sorts).

Quite surprised WMP doesn't play them, AAC/mp4 an open standard.
