Two questions that have come up - we want a laptop for doing customer presentations and to allow us to remote connect to the office from home/other places so....

Dell or Sony for the laptop itself

and

wi-fi or cables for the internet connections ?

Sorry to throw in a third alternative, but a lot of Toshibas have the wi-fi built in...

Satisfied Sony user here.

Will definately be going Sony, not Dell, for it's replacement.

A number of Sony's have Wi-Fi built in and if they don't, then a pcmcia card is not such a hardship.
