Using two modems

Hi Guys,
I had to stop using the BT voyager wireless modem due to low signal strength, and have now gone back to the speedtouch wired jobby on the main PC.
Is it possible to use the voyager on the lap top in a different room but on the same broadband telephone line. The idea being just for that PC and not to network it?

you'd be able to use the modem on the laptop to connect to the internet at seperate times to the other modem, you can't use 2 modem's at the same time on the same line tho. For that you'd need a router of some description (be it ICS on a computer or a hardware router).
