Hi,

I have an ISDN line at home that I no longer use (I have broadband) but I am keeping the line as I have a minimum contract to run (don't ask). Can andybody reccomend a good voice phone that I can attatch or even better some sort of adaptor that I could plug a fax machine and phone into??

Cheers

When you say ISDN, do you mean a Highway type ISDN or a straight ISDN2e connection? The answer is different depending on which you have.

If you have a Highway system, you can plug any standard non-ISDN phone or fax into the white or yellow sockets (the colour will depend on the age of your installation.) You cannot plug a standard phone/fax into the blue sockets but you can plug an ISDN phone/fax into them.

If you have an ISDN2e connection, then you follow the same route as for the Highway blue sockets.

If i remember the website name for a good ISDN phone outlet i used to use, I will post it here.
