Double Hard Laptops

Need to spec a hardened laptop for use in an industrial enviroment.

Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 is the obvious choice, magnesium alloy cased, Mil-Spec testing etc. but £3500 is pricey.

Anyone know any alternatives? Got to be water and dust resistant, capable of taking a drop from 1metre odd and general standing up to abuse.

Funnily enough I was talking to a chap last night who works for a big laptop firm.

They are about to sign up with a ruggedised additional case for any laptop.
