I need a new pc and I'm looking at MESH as an alternative to DELL etc.. The deals look good and I just wondered if anyone had any experience of them, good or bad.

Thanks

My housemate has a MESH. No probs, the case is well build and laid out with plenty of room for upgrades.

Having real issues with Dell at work at the moment.
We ordered 6 PC's with Raid controllers so that we can mirror the developers machines. These machines were shipped with SCSI cards instead.

We have spent the last couple of weeks on the phone/emailing DELL to get them to ship the correct cards. These were shipped today but without any ribbon connectors to install them. The ones in the computers are too short for our requirements.

Having said that the boxes are well made, and we've got 20" TFT with ours that are superb.
They feature plenty of USB2 ports on the box, the keyboard and on the monitor.

Have a customer that bought a bunch of MESH machines. They go quite well and are usually spec'd ok , reasonable build quality but fall down a bit on support when things go wrong. PSU seemed to be a weak point on his machines (mainly fans).

So very like Dell then - got a coin handy

Have had three PCs from Mesh. The first was a disaster and was eventually replaced after some very harsh words. The second was faultless from day one and still is years later. The third was supplied with a faulty(slow) hard drive, it was replaced and has been fine ever since(touch wood).
Mesh are obviously now much bigger than the early days and getting through to anyone on the phone can be difficult at times. Speaking to people in the industry they are no worse than anyone else in this respect.
IMHO you get more from Mesh for the same money as someone like Dell. When they were smaller they would supply pretty much any spec you asked for, today there are options but they are not as flexible.
Would buy from them again.
