BTOW Password rejected....?

Trying to connect to my mail account on BT openworld...

It just comes up with this
error log said:

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'mail.btinternet.com', Server: 'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Error logging in. Please visit http://mail.yahoo.com', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92


I've reset my password, tried to follw online help... too late to call.... help....

Any ideas..?

This was one of the reasons that I changed from BTOW.

They "update" the password files, and your password can end up with a "1" on the end of whatever it was before.

Try it.

Then change ISP.

Yep, they suspended my account because I hadn't used it. Fair enough I thought. So I reply to the email they sent me, to get it unlocked. "oh we don't do that, it's another department......" Fine can you tell me who...."err no, we don't know who does it......."

Yeah, i think its BT with the problems.

Im having trouble accessing my mail account with BtYahoo. sometimes Outlook connects, sometimes not

Had two clients recently with the same problems. Plus they kept getting dropped lines for no reason.

Moved them both to Demon. Problems all solved.

I sometimes get this with Pipex. It just means their mail server has fd up, that's all.
