Netgear Wireless-Hard wire access

I have a netgear DG834G wireless router, I am changing a couple of the PC's that are hard wired to the box, however I cannot get access to the network from the new PC?

XP pro on new machines, Router is controlled from 2000 pro machine, only seem to be able to set up access for wireless connections and not those wired to the router

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using DHCP to assign addresses and if so are the new machines set to obtain a lease automatically?

If you are assigning addresses manually, have you set manual addresses in the new machines? If they are set to automatic, then when they can't find a DHCP server they will default to an automatic address which I can guarantee will be outside your existing subnet.
