AdAware - keep it up to date!

Ran an Ad-Aware 6.0 scan yesterday, came up with 5 suspect objects.

Downloaded 6.181 and re-ran the same scan. 72 more objects found!

Are you saying the v6.0 does not download the latest definition files? Do we need to remove 6.0 and go back to Lavasoft and download the newer version?

Well, I did - don't know if its supposed to do it automatically...

You usually need to force an update check before every scan. Makes quite some difference.

I found that the adaware download just doesn't work, so I get th enew file once a week - only takes a minute to grab it, download and replace the old file. Well worthe the effort
