Disposing of old monitors

I have quite a few old CRT monitors that I no longer use, most of them work but there a few that are faulty, what is the best way of disposing of them? I thought about putting them on eBay but most of the ones on there have no bids on them so it may be a bit pointless.

Any ideas on this?

Local tip probably has a big container full of monitors and old tellies.

I used a website called Freecycle.

If you just want to get rid of them, tell people they can have them for nothing as long as they come and collect them.

Whereabouts are you based and are you after anything for them (if not the working ones then the faulty ones)? Little brother is very into computers, building computers, stripping them, pretty much anything related, he's always up for new 'toys'

I had a load that I could not give away on Freecycle, all working.

Local tip it was.
