2006 S320 CDI DPF sensor issue

Hi,
Having a bit of an issue with the DPF/DPF sensors on my W221 CDI.
The enginge management light comes on intermittently, and the car goes into limp mode when the light comes on. switching off the ignition and restarting it cures the limp mode issue.
I have had the car up on a fault code reader. The fault codes point to the DPF.
Have checked the values for the DPF and it is not blocked (20% soot content). Looks like a sensor is playing up. getting an error for 'B28/12 Left Exhaust differential pressure sensor'.
I was wandering if it is possible to obtain a schematic diagram of the DPF and its sensors, indicating which sensor is which? just need to identify where the sensor is and then I can go about replacing it. Any help would be appreciated.

A bit of a coincidence this...
I was at Alex Crow's facility earlier this week and he appears to be an expert on the MB DPFs. Alex had a DPF that he had taken apart...very interesting to see how they are manufactured and work.
Alex is a top bloke, approachable, friendly and very knowledgeable about all things MB.
