Not new to PH but new to this forum. I just did the dirty deed and put a deposit down on an E55 which I should collect this weekend

MY'00 on a T 36k miles in silver. Black leather with all the gizmos. Full history with x4 new tyres and an absolute minter. PERFECT for next weeks Le Mans trip. (Well, better than the Navara pickup I would have taken!)

Not my first Merc, had a 220D (Auto) C-class on a 95-M plate as a company car back about 7 or 8 years. Then had an E320 on a N-'96. Done about 80k in the C class and about 45k in the E.

Loved the E320. Now back in one with a little more bite!

Quick question, does the AMG V8 still have chains and not a cam belt?

Excellent choice of car. My younger brother runs a C36 which is an absoilute hoot to drive.

Im also new to the merc forum.

Well, not exactly me but my dad has just bought an ml.

One question, is there any long-term damage to running out of fuel, as this happened just after picking it up.
