Cold weather tyres for E63

That time of year...does anyone have any advice on where to obtain cold weather, or 'winter', tyres for a current-model E63 wagon? The dealers are the usual mixture of "cold weather what...?", or, "No, you can't have winter tyres for AMG, too much power mate, Mercedes don't alow it...".

My hope is that a PH'er has found a solution that doesn't require an additional set of wheels...

My 2011 E250 S212 is an Edition 125 sport with AMG Alloys but only 18 inch staggered front to rear 245/265.

Just ordred a set of vredestein Wintrac from MyTyres - W speed rated.

Took a bit of finding. Are you on 19's?
