Hi guys,

We have an '07 SL350. Does anyone know of an easy way to connect an iPod to it? Previously we have used FM transmitters etc. Is there a port behind the head unit to wire it in or anything?

Have you tried in the glovebox for an Aux In jack? That's where they are in a few of the pre media interface Mercs.

Googled this briefly the other day. I believe you can hook up iPods with some kit made by a company called 'dension'. But it seems expensive.
Some kits appear to be used by choosing CD6 on the cd changer. Then you can use forwards and backwards to change track. But you don't get proper track browsing and choosing, and you don't get track titles on the screen. Ideally you would get something more complete, wiith track titles etc.

Let us know if you find out could you? I'm looking for a slightly earlier model SL, but it will have the same version or COMAND.

It's always worth asking the dealer... I think I heard something about retrofits kits.
