I sold my C32 this time last year.

1. Great engine and gearbox
2. Quiet and refined
3. Discreet
4. Has some electrical gremlins such as the heated seat base goes and the seat control units can drain the battery. Both are fixable and I did both the C32 and the SLK32 heated seats.
5. Look out for rust. Rear arches, bootlid etc. Mine was excellent and they were covered by a warranty for 8 years but it depends if the owner(s) made use of it.
6. As with all the kompressor v6 and v8 engines the supercharger coolant pump can go, again fixable by after market part or dealer of course.

All in all a very nice saloon. tend to be Silver or Black

This was mine

and my SLK32

I have used two approaches. The first was a heated base pad from Mercedes and the second was outlined here. The carbon grid is a great solution and can be cut to shape. They are from here

They are fairly straight forward if you are confident with car maintenance. I used a soldering iron to utilise the existing loom connector so no need to break into cars wiring just reuse dead heated pad wiring.

I seriously considered these, estate version, before going for an ML55 AMG. Didn't come across too many pitfalls in my research, there were a couple with lots of owner changes, which rightly or wrongly, set alarm bells ringing. The cars we looked at were all good, probably too good to throw the dogs in hence the ML.Good luck with the search.
